From the BMC Toys CLASSIC TOY SOLDIER COLLECTOR SERIES, a fortified place for your defenders. The REDOUBT POSITION 12 piece set includes a timber reinforced earthwork cannon emplacement , 6 brown rustic fence sections, 4 brown spike barricades and a small black naval cannon. All parts are made from slightly stiff HDPE or stiff ABS with a medium amount of detail. The redoubt measures 9.25 x 5 x 1.85 inches tall, fence sections are 5.95 inches long, spikes are 2.45 long x 1.25 tall and wide, and the cannon is 3 inches long. The fences interlock in a zig-zag pattern and include 4 regular sections and 2 'damaged' looking sections. Parts are approximately 1:32 scale, but work with any 1:35 to 1:29 scale figures.

These accessories were initially offered to hobby collectors by Classic Toy Soldiers Company. The pieces were inspired by those in several famous playsets offered by Louis Marx and Company in the 1960s and 1970s. Classic Toy Soldiers Co. worked with BMC Toys to make them available to today's youngsters. BMC Toys was founded by Bill McMaster in 1991 and specializes in producing historically accurate plastic army men figures and playsets in the classic realistic style of the 1950s and 1960s.

These accessories are a perfect addition for playsets and school project dioramas of many eras and conflicts from the 17th to early 20th century including the American Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Napoleonic era Conflicts, and Civil War.
