From the BMC Toys CLASSIC TOY SOLDIER COLLECTOR SERIES, the most widely deployed tanks of the Allies. This pair of WW2 SHERMAN M4 TANKS feature lots of authentic detail. The barrels elevate, and the turrets rotate and have printed white star insignia of the US forces. Tank is made from stiff od-green color ABS plastic, measures 2.7 inches wide x 2.66 inches tall x 6 inches long and is approximately 1:38 scale.

This tank's official designation is Medium Tank, M4. More than 50,0000 were produced during WW2, and the Sherman Tank was involved with nearly every operational theater of the war.

These tanks were initially offered to hobby collectors by Classic Toy Soldiers Company around 1996. Classic Toy Soldiers Co. worked with BMC Toys to make them available to today's youngsters. BMC Toys was founded by Bill McMaster in 1991 and specializes in producing historically accurate plastic army men figures and playsets in the classic realistic style of the 1950s and 1960s.
