From the BMC Toys Classic Toy Soldier Collector Series, small field Artillery that packed a big punch. The WW2 US Artillery 12 piece Plastic Army Men Set features a long barrel howitzer, 2 short barrel howitzers, and 9 crew figures in 3 different poses. Both Artillery models have rolling wheels with metal axles, and the short barrel cannon feature barrels that elevate and movable trailing arms. Soldiers include 3 man Artillery crew. Figures are made from Tan color soft plastic with lots of detail and stand up to 2.4 inches tall. Artillery is made from Tan hard plastic and measure up to 2.8 inches tall and 7.5 inches long. All pieces are approximately 1:32 scale.

The short barrel Howitzer was initially offered to hobby collectors by Classic Toy Soldiers Company around the late 1990s, and the Artillery crew figures around 2010. The long barrel Howitzer was originally made for hobby collectors by The Toy Soldier Company and modeled after the version that was included in many famous Louis Marx & Company Battleground Playsets from the 1950s and 1960s. Classic Toy Soldiers Co. and Toy Soldiers Co. worked with BMC Toys to make these figures and accessories available to today's youngsters.
